Abbey Bridge - Booking Terms & Conditions
Welcome. Thank you for choosing to book with Abbey Bridge. We look forward to welcoming you. Please be aware that when making a reservation you are entering into a contract with us. The terms and conditions are set out below:
These Booking Terms apply to The Abbey Bridge, our officers, employees and agents (‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) and the person or legal entity making the Booking or to whom We supply services in respect of the Booking (‘You/Your’). These Booking Terms are governed by English law and apply to all Bookings except where We agree in writing other terms. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept these Booking Terms.
You must be over 18 years and able to enter into a legally binding contract to make a Booking.
A contract between you and us comes into effect when we accept and confirm a reservation from you and have received the required deposit. Please note that late bookings made within 24 hours of the check-in time may not be accepted.
Rates are fully inclusive and are per room per night and include traditional cooked breakfasts. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights the rate may be subject to change.
Our rooms are all finished to the same high standard. The rooms can accommodate a maximum number of people as advertised. We are unable to provide additional beds in any room. Our sitting rooms, other seating areas, and computer facilities are for the exclusive use of our guests.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in is from 16:00 to 20:00 (GMT).
Check-out is before 10:00 (GMT)
Check-in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival.
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, you will be offered alternate accommodation or a full refund.
If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before 12.01am on the date of arrival, a full refund of your deposit will be given within 5 working days.
If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, a charge equivalent to the total booking price will be levied.
To make a cancellation you must call Sue or Tim Hatt on 016977 3841 and quote your reservation number, name and check-in date.
Parking (free) is available for all guests on the Old Bridge; however The Abbey Bridge does not accept responsibility for damage to, or for theft from, or for theft of vehicles parked on or near our premises.
Children under 14 years of age can be accommodated but must be supervised and not cause disturbance or nuisance to other guests.
Conditions of Stay
We require all guests to comply with all legal regulations such as health and safety, fire precautions, no smoking policy and others requirements that enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests. We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you or your guest/s engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests.
We maintain the information You provide to Us for the purposes of accounting, record keeping and marketing. By making a booking You consent to the information being used for these purposes.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control.
You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us or Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
